Welcome to the Studio

Happy New Year, and welcome!

I’ve been meaning to add a blog to my website for a while, and the start of a new year felt like the right moment to begin. This space will be a simple extension of my studio; a place to share what’s happening behind the scenes, what I’m working on, and the smaller details that don’t always make it onto social media.

If you’ve followed my work for any amount of time, you know that my process is slow, layered, and very hands-on. Most pieces move through many quiet stages before they’re finished. This blog is where I’ll share glimpses of those in-between moments: works in progress, experiments that may or may not turn into finished pieces, materials I’m drawn to, and the rhythms of making that shape the final artwork.

I also plan to use this space for updates: new releases, limited editions, upcoming projects... but without the rush. Think of it as a calmer place to check in, rather than a constant stream of announcements.

The new year often brings a lot of pressure to start fresh or move fast. For me, this year is about steady growth and staying present in the work. That approach naturally carries into how I want to share things here: thoughtfully, honestly, and without overcomplicating it.

You don’t need to know anything about mandalas or process to be here. If you’re curious about how a piece comes together, what inspires certain patterns or colors, or what studio life actually looks like day to day, you’re in the right place. Some posts will be short and visual, others more reflective, but all of them will be grounded in the work itself.
